2. How we use your data
- To provide the Service — performing scans, generating reports, powering dashboard views, and delivering intelligence
- To improve the Service — analyzing usage patterns to improve scan accuracy, report quality, and user experience
- To communicate about your account — billing notifications, security alerts, service updates, and customer support
3. Data sharing
We share data only as necessary to operate the Service:
- Stripe — for payment processing. We do not store credit card numbers.
- Microsoft Azure — for cloud hosting and infrastructure.
We never sell your data. We never use your data for ad targeting. We never share scan results with third parties.
4. Data retention
Scan data is retained according to your subscription tier. Free tier data is automatically purged after 30 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@aegisnode.io.
5. Your rights under CCPA (California residents)
- Right to Know — You may request details about the personal information we collect about you.
- Right to Delete — You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out — We do not sell personal information.
6. Your rights under GDPR (EU/EEA residents)
- Right of Access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification — You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to Erasure — You may request deletion of your personal data.

7. Children's privacy
The Aegisnode Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Aegisnode uses essential cookies only — those necessary for the Service to function (authentication, session management, security). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
